"Children who witness intimate partner violence growing up are three times as likely as their peers to engage in violent behavior"

The Alliance to End Domestic Abuse

To empower people to live lives free from domestic abuse through multi-agency coordination, advocacy, and public education, the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre together with partnering agencies established the Alliance to End Domestic Abuse.

Our goals are:

  1. Agree upon agency responsibilities
  2. Develop a simplified survivor journey, addressing barriers
  3. Increase public awareness about domestic violence
  4. Gather and analyze local data
  5. Recommendation legislative reform to end domestic violence
